Welcome to the first official entry to my photo blog! To start things off, here’s a 5-image panoramic I discovered while undertaking the daunting task of attempting to organize my entire photo collection. I’m posting this one of Crane Lake, MN as our annual camping trip is only 8 days away! This will be my first real week-plus vacation since beginning work in January of 2008….Can’t say I’m a big fan of the 50 weeks on, 2 off schedule. Not at all.

For now, this is all I have, but be sure and subscribe for fresh photos & video as I explore the beautiful Bay Area, along with photo tips & techniques, and a little comedy (read: I am not “normal”).

I’ve got a unique perspective on life, and look forward to sharing it with friends, family, and followers as I continue to search for a way to escape corporate america and realize my dream: to travel, explore, and capture the beauty of our amazing planet for a living. The only way that’s going to happen is to get my work out there for you all to see…and comment on…so I welcome you to join me in the fun – and if you like what you see, share it!

And in case you were wondering where the title of my blog came from, it would be my favorite quote:

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
-Mark Twain

I thought that you may be interested in a monthly fun posting that I started in July called "5 on the fifth" where you take 5 random photographs on the fifth of the month and post them somewhere on the net and then post a comment on MY blog with your name, location and link to the site containing your photos and I update my blog entry so the world has your link.

    Interested?
